Welcome to Journaling Disciples, a Christian ministry dedicated to encouraging women to abide in the Word of God and become true disciples of Jesus Christ through the art of Bible journaling. Our mission is to use the art of Bible journaling to teach women to become better disciples of Christ Jesus, and learn to love abiding with Him in His word in a more impactful way.
Who We Are
Journaling Disciples is a ministry founded and operated by Lauren Rayfield. Lauren has been a ministry wife to Casey since 2014, and is a mom of three sweet kiddos, Kennedy, Judson, and Elliot. She is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focused in Education and Bible. Lauren has been a follower of Jesus since 2009, and an avid journaler for as long as she can remember. She is a member of Hickory Mountain Baptist Church in Siler City, NC, where her husband, Casey, is the pastor. She is passionate about sharing the gospel and creating disciples through journaling.
What We Do
The primary focus of our ministry is to teach women the basics of hand lettering and Bible journaling, and how to apply those skills to Bible study through our Bible journaling workshops. Our workshops encourage community building among women, while teaching them new Bible study skills in a fun and exciting environment. The goal of our workshops are to teach women to make connections in scripture through journaling skills, as well as sparking interest and desire in growing in the Word and growing closer to Christ.
